I agree with the comment about about the flies. There were flies everywhere, and the food had that rancid seafood smell like shrimp you threw out in yesterday's trash. The food was dry and crusted over, nothing was fresh. They simply don't do enough business to maintain fresh food like Phillips. Try any other buffet in OC and pass on this one, you will be sorry if you choose Jonah and the Whale. I am surprised each year when we come to OC that this place is still in business. The people who eat here have to be doing so for the first time, because I cannot imagine anyone coming back here intentionally.

The food was just okay for the outrageous price. There is hardly enough room to walk to the buffet and back to your seat without bumping into someone trying to walk or sitting in their own chair. Once you enter, you walk by the first buffet with flies covering the food! I wanted to walk right out, but after waiting 45 minutes, my family wanted to stay because they were starving. Not worth it...it is better to go to Phillips or anywhere else at the beach for the price paid at this establishment.

This was the worst buffet we have ever visited. Limited selection. Very few people were eating here and the food sat out. Most items were dry and past expiration due to lack of customers. There are many great buffets in OC, don't bother with this one.
